Kinfolk Cafe & Eatery, Long Bay Village

Came here for lunch after a nice walk in Long Bay park. I ordered a cappuccino and lamb pasta, both of which were delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly, which came with a good amount of pulled lamb, with a delicious sauce. They did forget our food order, and when I mentioned it they apologized & gave us the coffees for free, which was nice. Their sweet treats also look delicious - will definitely be grabbing some next time :)

Delicious matcha latte with strong flavor and not too sweet – just perfect! The prawn scramble and chicken burger were both so tasty. Great food and lovely service. I really like this place!

Kinfolk is much more than a cafe with quality food and coffee, it is a space to come together with family and friends and share in each-others company. From the moment you walk through the doors you are welcomed with a warmth that feels familiar and comforting. The staff at Kinfolk are very attentive and hospitable, making every visit a truly pleasant and memorable experience. Kinfolk offers a delectable selection of seasonal menu items prepared by their experienced chefs along with hot and cold beverage options available to purchase. My favourite dish (Although they are all soo good!!) would have to be the classic Eggs Benedict with a side of smoked salmon and button mushrooms! If I had to sum up my experience at Kinfolk in one word, it would be homely.

One of my go-to cafés! I’ve had lots of their dishes and they’re all great. Love the eggs Benedict with waffle and smoked salmon – so good! Drinks are always nice too, and the place feels super cozy.

Wow!!!! Is all I can say!!! I haven’t been to Long Bay in years and came across this cafe and I will be back!!! I ordered the eggs Benedict and it’s the best I’ve ever had!!!! Made on a soft homemade waffle, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandsise was divine. The fries were delicious too, with yummy aoli and fresh Parmesan cheese and seasoning. The coffee was delicious too!!!I will be back!!!! The service was excellent too!!! Well done!!!!

This place is amazing! I ordered a beef hash and an iced matcha. Food came out reasonably fast. The staff were very nice. The beef was flavourful and it wasn't too chewy. The potatoes were roasted perfectly, although I think there could've been more beef and less potato. The sauces on the side really elevated the dish. The matcha was pretty good, they had a good amount of matcha but it could've been a little bit sweeter in my opinion. Overall, I would come here again.

Kinfolk Cafe has officially stolen my heart — and my taste buds! Their latte is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly smooth, just the right amount of richness, and always made with care. You can tell they know their coffee. Now let’s talk food — the chicken wrap? Absolutely awesome. Packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and the perfect balance of textures. It’s my go-to lunch now, and I never leave disappointed. And I can’t say enough about the staff — they’re simply 100/10. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They make every visit feel like you’re catching up with friends. Service like this is rare and makes all the difference. If you haven’t been to Kinfolk Cafe yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommend!

Absolutely excellent cafe in Long Bay! The menu is thoughtfully created with unique options and of reasonably priced. We tried lamb pasta and prawn scramble today. Both very delicious and beyond our expectation for a cafe. The coffee was delicious, and my friend couldn’t stop praising it. And the service was great too. We’ll definitely be back soon to try more dishes!
